5’ x 8’ Consider a 5’ x 8’ rug for smaller living rooms. We recommend placing the front legs of your sofa on the rug so it’s not “floating” in the middle of the room.	8’ x 10’ 8’ x 10’ rugs look great in most living room settings. This size allows you to place the front legs of your furniture on the rug, which ties things together.	9’ x 12’+ In larger living room settings, a 9’ x 12’ or 10’ x 14’ rug makes a big statement.
